Heavenly Father,
We thank You for our brothers and sisters who have just accepted Lord Jesus as their Saviour. We pray that they will grow in their faith, become closer to You and more Christ-like in character.
Father, thank You that we have Your promise that You will go to war on our behalf, that You have won the war and we do not need to fear. We pray that our brothers/sisters in Christ will be protected from negative influences in their lives, as they are babes in their walk with You. Whether it is from the world, from unbelievers, or from Satan, we ask that You would guard their hearts against anything evil.
We thank you for the opportunity to serve You in the church, in the community and around the world. May new Christians have freedom and opportunities to worship freely, share the Gospel with the world and watch with joy how the Holy Spirit is working through their stories.
We ask that they will be able to grow closer to You while attending a spirit-filled church and have a supportive and loving community.
Lord, we ask that You give them a thirst for Your Word and for quality personal time with You – as there is no substitute for personal intimacy with You.
