When was the last holiday that you truly focused on JESUS?
I don’t mean going to church, socialising, ministering or even being too busy with church activities. Worshipping, reading and meditating on the Word, fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit and soaking in His glory?
HE NEEDS YOU. He wants to hear from you.
Let this post-Easter season be about pleasing GOD. Else, it will be just another Christian holiday that’s come and gone. Back to food, fun and life on double speed.
Do not waste what you gained during this Lent. Enoch walked with God and God took him. We should be so focused on pleasing GOD, during every season of life.
Our silence can also please Him. Be still, know that HE is God.
JESUS should be our first priority, our first thought and our first love.
Too many activities can even make people compromise on their family time, health and even integrity.
Ministry, family, love, traditions are all good. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33) is what the Bible says.
So, JESUS first. HE is our reward. Everything else in life is an added bonus.
