Monday Reflection – Oct 28

The most precious, expensive thing in your life is your soul.

Not your money, car, house, diamonds, career, title, child or partner. We invest hours on work, study, people. We provide four meals and more snacks whenever needed, to the physical body, whenever the body is hungry. Make up, baths, potions and creams for the body whenever at home or we go out. All this for a body that is going to return to soil one day.

Meanwhile, our soul, our inner man is starving without any connection to JESUS. How many of us feed our souls daily? How many of us nourished our spirit at least by reading a small chapter from the Bible today?

The world is always on the brink of war, something that can destroy millions within moments. Yet, we still feed the physical man. We race madly, not paying heed to our souls.

Focus on the inner man. The soul does not die. Nourish the spirit and soul with the Word, prayers, fasting, worship and praise. And then go out and care for people.

Read the Word, agree with what GOD says. Anyone can wear a WWJD (What would Jesus Do) bracelet or a crucifix around his neck. Truly thinking, speaking and acting like Jesus is a different ball game.

“Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God” (Ephesians 5:1,2)

Imitate Christ.
