Do you feel like you are kept on hold by GOD? This one is for the weary.
Everybody else seems to be getting blessed but you. People are getting new jobs, promotions, getting married, climbing life’s success ladders, buying homes, cars, moving abroad, travelling and their families too seem to be getting blessings galore.
While you are in waiting.
In fact, you have been in waiting for years. You have stayed in silent doubt and yet kept the faith when God seemed to pass you by, whenever it came to giving out blessings. If anything, when there seems to be a tiny bit of progress, you are hit by yet another health issues, financial crisis, family stress or ministry challenge.
Been there, my friend. And I can tell you it is the biggest lie from hell – that anything mundane is bad.
There is so much joy in waiting. So much peace in staying in praise for the mundane everyday life that does not seem to change at all.
When I was young, every tiny glitch in life brought me to helplessness and tears. Today, when things come one after the other, I know it is because satan loves to attack our minds, hence our God-given destinies.
Joseph was given a promise as a youth. He came into the authority that God promised him, in his forties. After years of silent preparation to be come the Prime Minister of Egypt. For many years he was silently obedient to God, patiently doing right even when he was being treated wrong by life, betrayed by his family, sold as a slave, lied about, thrown to jail and kept waiting while everyone else seemed to be thriving.
From being papa’s pet, to being thrown to the pit, to Potiphar’s palace, to prison to his own palace, finally.
GOD sees. Your attitude in the wilderness matters. Your praise should be the loudest when your last shred of hope seems to be ripped apart.
KEEP UP THE PRAISE. Victory is coming.
