Monday Reflection – June 23

It never ceases to amaze me how people not only hesitate to help someone, but stop others from doing so.

Recruiting others into your bandwagon of hate is a special kind of evil. All of us walk this way just once. Help people, please. And encourage our young to do that too. Let our children too share their love, time, things and money. Teach them young.

You may have your misgivings and concerns but don’t put a spoke in someone else’s plans to do something good in this world. May be the person has hardly enough but wants to share what he/she has. Maybe he/she has been generous before and gotten stabbed in the back for it.

But let people help, care, love – without borders, prejudice, judgement. The people who remain in my life today are the ones who always care. Simple people who are around when you need them. Ones who are not afraid to be judged for being human.

Those are the kind we will always remember, even from our childhood – the ones who love without walls.

The world has become so cynical that even if we genuinely want to care, people imagine a hidden agenda behind it.

Let them. YOU do all the good you can, to all the people you can and in every way you can. Without prejudice. Bless even strangers. The world needs more of that.
