Monday Reflection – June 1

The biggest display of Christ in you is – love.

You cannot love GOD and hate people. Ultimately, what matters the most in life is how well you love each person that you meet.

You could be poor, uneducated, holding zero titles in church, struggling to keep a steady job, raise kids and run a home.

But the world will still see Jesus in you – if you love and respect people well, even strangers.

A bigger sign of Christianity is your ability to forgive and still love people even when they give you many reasons not to.

Love in action, more than empty noise. Quiet devotion and daily, selfless service often leave a more lasting impact on the world, than loud, ‘performative righteousness’.

Even behind many powerful, positive historical movements, there are silent, humble individuals laid the foundation in love.

Jesus taught that love is the ultimate purpose of life, defining it not just as an emotion, but as an active, sacrificial choice.

Our Lord condensed all commandments to two actions: loving God wholeheartedly and treating your neighbour as yourself. When asked about the most important rule, Jesus stated: “ Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’  There is no commandment greater than these”. (Mark 12:30-31)

He elevated the standard further by telling His followers: “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” (John 13:34)

Even if you don’t show off your Christian faith, learn to love well.

Silent saints are often the biggest saints.
