God works on His own timetable. One just cannot rush Him.
It is not easy for even a dedicated believer to watch and wait while everything pretty much stays the same.
Your career is stuck, your marriage is barely surviving, your kids are going their own way, life is dull, things are plainly monotonous. You are wondering if things will ever change – will the finances improve, will your body heal, will your family do well, will overall situation in your land improve and will you ever catch up to a hustling world.
Meanwhile, you are surrounded by friends and family – who are all super achievers. You have read the scripture, cried in your room, struggled to get up, but still heaven has been silent. So you pushed yourself off the bed and fixed breakfast and reported to work.
Nothing has changed, years later. And you still wonder what YOU can do. Why is JESUS not doing something?
We will experience healing from that ‘gotta do something to make something happen’ mentality, when we see things from Jesus’ perspective, through His eyes.
You are closer to a breakthrough than you think you are. Its is in the secret place that HE works on you. Enjoy time with JESUS there. Daily, deliberately. Satan fears people who will NOT negotiate with him and those who refuse to have a chat with him about how wrong things are.
We are the hallelujah people – we praise loudest when we hurt the most. We talk to JESUS about our daily grind and He sorts it all out.
Don’t you judge yourself for missing the mark; we all have. All you gotta do is stay in faith. The enemy does not fear the loud ones, He fears the consistent.
If we go the opposite way, He will always bring us back, but we may lose precious time and earn some bruises along the way. But HE can make all those beautiful as you give it all to HIM.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28) Keep standing; the walls will fall down.
Just let GOD be God and surrender it all at the feet of Jesus. The best place to be.
