Spicy Indian fried chicken is incredibly juicy and packed with deep flavours. When you cook it in an air fryer, it gets healthier.
Heat a frying pan. Switch off the flame.
Toss in 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tbs coriander powder, 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds, 2 tsp fennel seeds and 1 tsp cumin seeds.
Dry roast them AFTER switching off the pan, stirring quickly, so the spices don’t burn.
Blend these in a mixer jar along with 1 tsp salt, 1 tbs vinegar, 7 cloves garlic and 1 tbs oil.
Marinate 500 grams of chicken in the spice mixture for 2 hours.
Line these in an air fryer, spray some oil and air fry for 15 minutes.
Then turn the pieces over and fry for another 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels, garnish with fried curry leaves and enjoy.
