The only thing the world cannot steal from us is our character.
People can destroy our health, our finances, our ministries, our reputation…They cannot touch our character.
Material things such as success, fame, looks and popularity are all temporary, but character, mindset, and work ethic are permanent. When character is lost, all is lost.
What we are in JESUS, provides us with more strength when other ‘possessions’ fail.
What you own does not matter, how you thank God for what you already have matters.
The homes, cars, luxuries you earn for your family should not be more where your focus lies – loving them and spending quality time with them matters more.
How many hours you put in at work should never be more important than how much you enjoy your work and fruitful time spent with your co-workers.
Your skills and talents don’t count if those are of no use to God and man.
The money you donate to the church or charities is important, but not anywhere close to knowing JESUS and honouring Him in all you think, do or say.
What you truly are and how you worship God and treat people – matters.
Love, respect, integrity, joy, peace, humility and grace – comes naturally when you have the Holy Spirit.
HE builds you up. He moulds your character. THAT is the only thing that no one can touch.
Let Him do His work on you – well. No complaints or arguments. “So that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky” (Philippians 2:15)
