In a world that’s moving too fast, waiting on Him can be hard. It can be harder if we see others being blessed in areas which we long to be blessed in.
You long for that first job, your friend has gotten his second promotion already. Everybody seems to be moving to another country, getting married, buying homes, growing to the next level in life.
Meanwhile you seem stagnant. Your life seems to be boring, routine and stuck. No change.
Their blessings are not your blessings, their crosses are not your crosses either.
God can do better work in us if we go with Him, step by step, praying, studying Scripture daily, listening to the Holy Spirit throughout the day.
Truly hunger for His guidance. Not fast food faith, but quiet faithfulness and persistence.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not (Galatians 6:9)
Learn well what JESUS wants you to learn. While you are in your waiting period, use every moment for deeper intimacy with JESUS. Learn how to live and love God and people His way. He will use every tear, every hour given to Him. Learn to get your life, lips and mind sanctified.
Times of waiting can be seasons of intense spiritual growth. YOU hold the key. Don’t rush what He is doing.
Don’t microwave what needs to be simmered. Blessings are coming.
