Monday Reflection – March 9

Most of life involves dealing with things it throws at you. Some happy, some sad.

The good news is that you don’t have to do it alone. You do not have to stay up late worrying or be too miserable to get off the bed, because JESUS is alive. He cares. He is actually waiting on YOU.

Take it to the Lord in prayer. Then soak in His glory, His Word. No one can comfort you as the Holy Spirit does.

Life has thrown me some tough crosses; it will throw you some hard stuff too. We can pray for each other.

When we change how we view a problem – a setback can become an opportunity for biblical growth. When overwhelmed, focus only on what is immediately in front of you, breaking down huge burdens into small, manageable moments.

Focus on the basics – one day at a time, one problem at a time.  Prayer, good sleep, healthy food and keeping your mind and speech obedient to Christ, can significantly impact mental and physical coping abilities.

One verse that always gives me incredible peace is Isaiah 26:3: “You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You”.

Keep your eyes on JESUS. He has never failed you so far. You may have messed up, people may have messed up – but HE always came through.

HE promised never to leave you or forsake you. He never will.

Your problem isn’t the problem, your reaction is the actual problem. STAY IN CHRIST.
