So many of us are fighting battles that NOBODY knows about. Very often, you may hear from old friends – who you thought were doing exceptionally well – when they suddenly share all the tough things that they have been battling.
And you are shocked – you thought that you were the only one sick, struggling and somehow juggling too many crosses. They did not call or write NOT because they didn’t care, but because they were just too weary to.
And we did NOT even know. Or reach out. They were in pain too. Next time, remember that.
I don’t know what mountain you are facing today – sickness, stress, broken relationships, debts, heartbreak, a floundering career or physical pain.
The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy – and he begins by destroying your inner peace.
Don’t permit that.
With every last ounce left of your strength, go into the inner room. Call out to Abba Father. Connect with JESUS. His name has power. Invite Him into your room, life, family, situation.
Ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Then when you leave your room, be prepared. Take each thought, make it captive to Christ; speak to your mountains about the power of your awesome God.
Fight in His strength. And don’t forget to check on people and pray others through their own battles too.
Don’t give satan a seat at your table.
