It is amazing to realise that the so-called ‘power of evil’ cannot really harm you or me – even though it can scare/confuse/hurt us for a moment – because we are in the protection of our Almighty God.
We are powerful through Christ who strengthens us.
Satan knows our weak points and hits us there often. May be you struggle with emotions, but are okay handling physical pain. May be you hate feeling sick, but can handle stress easily. Demons attack where we are weakest. Often, they attack in the same area often. They know and are persistent.
Do not give in to evil.
The warfare is in our minds. If that evil thought is not let in, most of the battle is won. Believers face an unseen, spiritual enemy, not physical people. Our adversaries are demonic forces, often working through people and situations. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ep 6:12)
Your neighbour, family, or someone with different views isn’t the real enemy; the conflict is deeper. Hating them or attacking them isn’t gonna help.
Control your mind and how it goes. That will control your speech and your actions.
Nothing can touch you if you are in Christ. Stay in JESUS. Stay in His Word. Seek His help moment by moment, one day at a time.
He will never fail you; He will never forsake you. Don’t agree to your feelings; they can lie to you. JESUS sees it all and all He wants is for you to reach out to Him.
You don’t have to fear the enemy when you know who God is, who you are in Christ, and how the enemy is defeated. KNOW THE TRUTH & THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.
