Anytime you have won anything by acting ungodly, you have not really won, you have lost.
Don’t compromise to get things early. Wait until GOD gives it to you. If you have to sin to get it, it’s just not from God for you right now.
You are not taking your popularity to heaven, but your integrity.
Every situation, every place needs one person – often alone in the dark, to speak the truth when it’s not popular. One person to take a stand when it’s not safe at home, in an organisation, community – when there is much at stake for Jesus.
And if you have compromised so far in life, for a fresh start – with God or man – begin with true repentance. Tell the Lord how you put THINGS first, instead of Him.
He who sacrifices his conscience to ambition, burns a picture to obtain the ashes…
Homes, companies, communities need men and women who will not buckle for money, position or popularity. People who don’t just talk the talk, but walk the walk – for Jesus and for the world around us.
Be that person.
