Don’t waste time on chats about people. Not useful to them or to you – especially not spiritually.
If you want to speak about people, speak good, remember the good they have done to you and to others, your good memories of them. Make an effort to THINK good of communities, of people, and teach that to your children too.
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of – (Luke 6:45)
Idle chatter has sown more discord than anything else – in homes, churches, offices, communities. Jesus warned us about the weeds that are planted in good soil. Be aware.
Some would find fault in an angel who has come down from heaven. Worse still, they recruit others to their party of hatred. Every time good people try to do something good, there are always some who judge them. They believe that the good those people intend to do is going to do them some harm. Normal everyday folk cannot speak good about some community, country, leader, pastor, church, family, religious group or person, without offending someone else.
That is not a good sign. Sow peace and love, not discord and weeds. You cannot throw mud at another without getting your hands and ultimately, your own soul – dirty.
Promote what you love. But do not bash who you dislike. In public or even privately.
YOU get to control what is discussed when you are around. Bless people even when they are not around.
