A little poison into a well, makes the whole well water poisonous. So does sin.
When sin comes in, it may not come in with an announcement. It comes in subtly and then, very often, sets up camp.
What you let into your home matters. Your home – can be your house, your family, your room, your car, your inner circle, your church, your office or your own mind.
What you let inhabit your space – will possess you after a while. It may be negative thoughts, addictions, bad habits, perversions, wrong things, bad thinking, stress or offenses.
Do not let in impurities and expect you and your generations to not get affected. What you do today can affect your legacy for your children.
The good news is that repentance, healing, deliverance and the love and light of Jesus, can come in the same way.
YOU can ask the Holy Spirit to inhabit you, then live in the Spirit by constantly seeking God through prayer and His word, then obey His guidance and consciously live a life that reflects His character and avoids sinful habits. Life is an ongoing process of recognising and responding to the Holy Spirit’s presence in every little thing.
God is holy; treat your home, a place that He inhabits – as holy. Make all effort to keep it welcoming for JESUS.
We do not seek a mere visitation from JESUS, but a habitation.
What will you have come into your home? Darkness or light?
It’s up to you to flip the switch.
