The one time we really grow spiritually is when we do what Jesus wants us to do, even when we don’t ‘feel’ like doing it.
When we really want to bail out of that situation and yet chose to kill the flesh, stick on with integrity, apologise to God or man and show up and do what’s right, so that our God of love is glorified.
Some of us have to be made to grow up by God before we do it.
It is easy to wear a ‘What Would Jesus Do” bracelet, but living it, breathing it, obeying it to the dot, is hard.
The good news is He does not leave us abandoned. All we gotta do is be ready to focus on Him.
He will do the walking on water.
And when we follow Him blindly – through the Word and the daily promptings of the Holy Spirit, we will definitely walk across the water, holding tightly to His hand, our eyes never leaving His face.
That is how we cross the river of life.
So just wipe those tears away, wash your face and open your Bible.
He still speaks today. Please listen.
