God has set up alerts throughout the Bible to remind us to be AWARE of Him.
Be still and know that I am GOD. He reminds us through people, nature, situations – to be still and aware that HE is watching us.
Being still means staying in JESUS’ presence, seeking Him, switching off devices, idle conversations and putting off chores and waiting on Him.
It means taking your eyes of problems and focusing on JESUS.
Being aware of JESUS means, being aware of His eyes and ears being tuned to what you are thinking, doing and speaking daily, moment by moment.
A personal integrity grid to put on our hearts and may be also on the fridge – about anything that we are going to think about, do, watch, read, write or participate in:
1) Can I ask God to bless it – for another or myself?
2) Will it bring glory to God/show His kinda love to a friend?
3) Will it cause God or someone else hurt/make them stumble?
Lord, help! Weed out anything You don’t want, Lord Jesus…help us conquer evil by Your kinda love.
What YOU want. Nothing else matters.
