No matter how the world tries to sell it, there is no joy or fulfilment outside loving GOD and loving people.
You do not need your life to be perfect to be able to thank GOD. You do not have to have a happy day to make someone else happy. You do not have to be wealthy to share what you have. And you definitely do not have to have formal introductions before being kind to people.
You walk this way. just once. Just give out love. Spread love, not prejudice.
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it (Hebrews 13:2)
There is a lotttt of propaganda out there – people trying to teach us to hate people – even people from other races, countries, cultures or social settings – most of them we do not know, or haven’t met. We are told ‘so and so is like that’. And its easier to believe the stories and build a wall, than to reach out and care for both sides – THAT takes Christ-like love.
These strangers we are taught to hate – they too are people who are trying to live, survive this crazy journey called life and give themselves and their families good things. If that kinda hate-mongering against any people – is working on you, time to put a stop to it.
You may not be able to change the world, but you can change the tone of conversations, thinking and actions – in your home and in your friends circle.
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8)
Only genuine Christ-like love can mitigate the impact of past mistakes by fostering forgiveness and understanding, not just a superficial show of affection. Shatter those walls that you have let close-minded people build around you.
Care for people and not just for the ones you call your own.
