Spiritual Warfare

Monday Reflection – March 18

“Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God”. Revelation 3:2 speaks about our actions that do not meet the requirements of God.

Jesus uses a metaphor for the spiritual condition of His church in Sardis. A church asleep with almost-dead deeds and a façade of being alive. He wants them to wake up. If they do not wake up, they will inevitably find themselves shocked, when suddenly face to face with their Creator.

Dead works. What are the dead works in your life?

So many of us do so many things, thinking it glorifies God. Not God, who is love.

May be you are glorifying religion, money, success, an ideology or even self.

The most important thing in life is to get right with Jesus. While you still have the chance.

Have the courage to allow Jesus to show you from today, the truth about yourself – no matter how ugly or painful it may be.

And begin to deal with it right away.
