Lord Jesus, today we bring to You the oldest members of our families and society, our parents, grandparents and the elderly in our entire family tree.
Dear God, please bless our parents and grandparents. Thank you for the life our grandparents gave our parents and for the life, they give to us. For the ways all of them helped us and made us strong, we give thanks.
For the ways, they love our families no matter what, we rejoice. For the ways they have paved the road that leads us here, we thank You.
Let them grow in wisdom and joy in life. Let them find peace and rest from their work. Let them be healed of every sickness and pain.
We pray that Your presence comforts them in their loneliness. Keep them focused on You, rather than on their aches and anxieties.
We pray specially for those who are sick and those living alone. Watch over our parents and grandparents and all the elderly, Lord Jesus. May they have angels for their aid whenever they are alone.
And let them see with their own eyes Your glory and the devoted love of their children and grandchildren.
Bless them always until they come to rest with You.
