Monday Reflection – June 12

All of us have experienced some levels of brokenness. Unexpected, tough situations, some that we could never have imagined would ever happen to us.

You can come out bitter, or you can come out better. You can come out with a chip on your shoulder, blaming God, or you can GO TO JESUS, lay it bare to Him, come out stronger, holding hands with God.

You can use any brokenness as a road back home to God. Then bring others to it and through it too.

Vases that are broken can be lined with gold. And made more beautiful and precious – than before.

Your identity can change from, “I’m broken by my past,” to, “I’m a new creature in Christ”.

May be the pain was the result of your own poor choices. Even then, God can show you purpose for the pain, if you let Him.

Do not waste any of those tears. All those hard days and nights can prepare you for the future, develop your character and help you become more sensitive to broken people you meet on your journey.

God can take the ashes of your past and make something beautiful and new out of them. Let Him.

Don’t just go through your brokenness, grow through it.
